Smiling is a very simple action that can have a profound impact on ourselves and others. 

When we smile to ourselves, it engenders a feeling of happiness inside.

When we smile at others, it can promote many positive feelings for them such as:

-  feeling cared about

-  feeling appreciated

-  not feeling alone in the world

-  feeling accepted 

-  a sense of belonging

Try to practice smiling at everyone you meet for a week, and see what happens!
